Faith

I don’t know what to say
I don’t know what to do
I don’t have much else
but a paper and a pen and nothing to lose

Don’t know where you’re at
or if you’ve been thinking about me
But my head finds trouble my heart don’t share
so my feelings climbing out of here

I don’t know what to say
I don’t know where to go
This city’s full of people
I’ve asked where they’re all heading
but nobody knows

I keep dreaming about ways that are high above mine
and lacking of flaws
But a part of me thinks I’ll loose again
cos my head can’t seem to hear what my heart keeps saying

Don’t you have a little faith?
Don’t you even have a bit of trust within you
when the evenings getting late
and you really don’t know what to do

Say can you hear me,
say am I making sense?
What do we do with your feet on the ground
when the sky’s asking us to dance?
You keep showing me ways that are high above mine
and lacking of flaws
Still a part of me thinks I’ll lose again
cos my head can’t seem to hear what my heart is saying

Don’t you have a little faith?
Don’t you have a bit of trust within you
when the evenings getting late
and you really don’t know what to do
with the bills you cannot pay
and the heartache that won’t heal
Don’t you have a little faith
that things could get better still?
Don’t you have a little faith?
