Can I be silent
Can I say nothing at all
Can I be quiet
Can I not sing, not a single note
Can I only bask in Your glory
Just be completely in awe of You
Can my only tears display my true feelings,
Can my heart just show You everything
No language to express through and through
With no words Jesus, no great words but a smile, tears and a groan
Can I be silent and just wait for You
Can I lie in here… and just love You
Even before and after You replace everything,
Everything with great joy and gladness,
Can I worship You, with no words
no words to utter
With my heart completely surrendered to no one but You
Here, alone… with no words. But You.
